The district currently is looking for substitute bus drivers. Unfortunately, at this time we do not have any if a regular driver has to take a day off. This puts us in the position of running combined bus routes. This is something we don't like to do unless it is necessary. However, this week we will be running double routes due to a bus driver being out. Again, we are sorry for the inconvenience on those days and appreciate your flexibility.
This is a reminder from Raymondville Elementary that we will not be in school on Friday. This school year we have gone to a 4 day a week calendar. Please check your child's planner or the school's website for the school calendar that shows all days that we are in session. We have six Fridays that we will be in session this school year with the first Friday being Sept 10th.
The Raymondville School needs your help next week. We ordered a new water bottle for each student to leave at school and refill daily. Unfortunately, the shipment has been pushed back and won't be delivered until the beginning of September. We would like to request that you have your child bring in a water bottle from home that they will leave here at school until our new water bottles are delivered. We appreciate your help in this matter. Thank you.
Don't forget Open House is this Monday & Tuesday! Monday night is for students with the last name that begins with A-L. Tuesday night is for students with the last name M-Z. Each night will be from 5:30-6:30. We can't wait to see our students and families.
We have good news! There will NOT be a supply list for Raymondville students for the 2021-2022 school year!! Instead we are asking all parents to pay $10 per child for supplies. The school with help from the Community Crossroads Church, will be purchasing all supplies for students. Therefore, elementary parents will not have to shop for supplies (only exception is backpacks). We ask that you pay the supply fee at Open House. Thank you.
The Raymondville R-VII School District partnered with Texas County Memorial Hospital and Licking R-VIII School District to provide a vaccination clinic for students, families, and community members on August 19, 2021 in the Licking FEMA Gym from 5:30-7:30.
