A big thank you to the Raymondville Volunteer Fire Department for visiting our school today for Fire Prevention Day! Our students learned important fire safety tips and got an up-close look at the fire trucks and equipment. We’re so grateful to our local firefighters for taking the time to teach our kids how to stay safe and for all they do to protect our community.

A big thank you to community member Kim Akers for her generous donation of several Boo Baskets for our students!
We held a drawing to spread a little extra cheer, and these lucky students and teacher were our winners!
Congratulations to all of them, and thank you again to Kim for helping make this season a little more fun and festive at Raymondville R-7!

Today our 8th graders spent time teaching math skills to the 4th graders. They led stations on multiplication, subtraction, and the distributive property—each with a short lesson, an activity, and some individual practice. It was great to see the older students step up as leaders and the younger ones so eager to learn.

🦅 Happy Boss’s Day! 🦅

❤️🤍💙 Today, on 9/11, our preschoolers and 8th graders came together to honor Officer Art — our very own hometown hero. The 8th graders helped the preschoolers color special pictures to show their gratitude. Thank you, Officer Art, for your service, your protection, and the example you set for our students every single day. 🇺🇸

Yesterday was full of school spirit! We kicked things off with a high-energy pep rally and wrapped up the day cheering on our team at the first volleyball game of the season. Way to go Eagles!

Mrs. Cichon's 7th graders explored the structure of the eye this week with a hands-on (and tasty!) activity. Using marshmallows, frosting, and candy, they created edible models of eyeballs to better understand the different parts and their functions. A great example of learning by doing!
