Officer Art stopped by Mr. T’s 3rd grade class today to read "Just Dog." The students loved hearing the story and spending time with him. It was a great reminder of how much fun reading can be. We appreciate Officer Art for taking the time to visit and make reading extra special for our kids!

We are proud to announce that Raymondville Elementary has been designated a 2024-2025 National Beta School of Merit. The school earned this recognition by offering National Beta to all eligible grades on its campus. The National Beta School of Merit award is given to honor a club’s dedication and commitment to academic excellence. To achieve this prestigious honor, a school must include members from all eligible grade levels in its Beta club.

Our summer school crew had a blast exploring Elephant Rocks State Park! The giant boulders (some over a billion years old!) were the perfect spot for a day full of adventure and learning. From hiking the trails to checking out old quarry sites, there was so much to see and do. Big thanks to the Missouri State Parks Grant that helped make this awesome field trip happen!

It was the last day in more ways than one! As the school year came to a close Thursday, we also said a heartfelt goodbye to two cherished members of the Raymondville R-7 School District family. ✨ Mark Cooper officially retired after 18 years of dedicated service to our school and community. ✨ Andi Scheets celebrated her retirement after 9 wonderful years with us at Raymondville. Their impact on students, staff, and the entire district will be felt for years to come. We are truly grateful to have been a part of their journey and wish them both all the best in this exciting new chapter of life. Thank you, Mark and Andi — you will be deeply missed!
