As part of their first-quarter goal, students worked hard to make good choices and show good behavior. They met their goal, and Mr. T held up his end of the deal by spending the entire school day without shoes or socks!

Dear Raymondville R-VII Families & Community,
In the coming days or weeks, you may see information released regarding letter grades (A–F school ratings) for public schools across Missouri. We want you to hear directly from us about this new rating system and, most importantly, what it means for Raymondville R-VII.
The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) is developing its first pilot A–F grading system for public schools. The system was created under an executive order signed by Governor Mike Kehoe in January.
It is important to understand that this grade is a pilot and is not a final rating. This is the first year of a brand-new state system, based on assessment results from the 2024–25 school year, and the state is still finalizing how the grades will be calculated. We fully expect the framework to evolve over time, and as it does, a school's grade may change as well.
Most importantly, an A–F grade is only one measure of a school and does not tell the complete story of a school district.
Our district is already evaluated through the Annual Performance Report (APR) and the Missouri School Improvement Program (MSIP). We will continue to work toward our goals for improvement districtwide in all areas, including instruction, student achievement, teacher support, and building strong relationships with our students, families, and community.
There is so much more to Raymondville R-VII than a single letter grade. Behind every score are dedicated teachers and staff, students who work hard each day, supportive families, and a community that cares deeply about our schools.
I assure you that our work is never done. We will continue to celebrate our successes, identify areas where we can improve, and work together to provide the best possible educational experience for our students.
