Starting the second semester Raymondville R-VII Schools will be going 1:1. Raymondville will be the first school in the area to go 1:1. What this will mean for your student is that if they are a 3rd to 8th grade student they will have daily use of their own laptop/tablet. This is increased responsibility for both the care and the use of the machine.
As you know now your student access the internet for many reasons already from research to AR testing. We feel that this is an extension and will allow your student to be better prepared for their future. These machines will not be going home only used here at school.
With our new program we have a tutoring program that can be accessed online from home also. The will all be receiving User Names and Passwords for Laptop Protocol.
NO STUDENT WILL BE ALLOWED TO USE 1:1 MACHINES WITHOUT A COMPLETED FORM.
